Ingredients
- 200 grams Green Beans, sliced into medium pieces
- 2 medium sized fresh beetroot, finely grated
- 1 medium sized potato, cut into cubes
- 1 large onion, finely chopped
- 1 teaspoon, ginger garlic paste
- 1/2 teaspoon turmeric powder
- 1/2 teaspoon red chilli powder
- 1/2 teaspoon cumin seeds
- 1/2 teaspoon coriander powder
- 1/2 teaspoon garam masala
- Salt to taste
- 1 tablespoon Olive Oil
Method to make Green Beans Beetroot and Potato Recipe
Step 1– Wash the beans well, remove the ends and slice them into medium pieces. Peel off the potatoes and cut them into dices. Also, peel off the beetroot and grate it. Keep aside all the vegetables.
Step 2– Take a heavy bottom pan and put some oil in it. Add cumin seeds, when they start to crackle add ginger garlic paste and sauté for a minute.
Step 3– Add onions and stir fry till they turn golden brown. Add potatoes and sauté them for 1-2 minutes.
Step 4– Then, put turmeric powder, red chilli powder, coriander powder and salt. Mix all the ingredients well. Now, add green beans and stir fry for 2-3 minutes.
Step 5– Add grated beetroot and mix all the ingredients well. Pour half cup of water, cover the lid and let all the vegetables cook well. Keep stirring in between so as to avoid sticking to the pan.
Step 6– Once the vegetables are cooked well, open the lid and transfer the dish in a serving bowl. Serve the dish hot with rotis.
